[Uganda Bukonzo Owemba] 

"Owemba" it is a word from the local Uganda language - that means "something outstanding".  This coffee bean’s characteristics is a mixture of the rich body and multidimensional from the classic Indonesian coffee beans, fruity wine-like acidity from the African coffee beans as well as the sweetness and spiciness of the Central American coffee beans. It brings out a smooth buttery texture that lingers with almond nougat and dried pear flavour to start and ends with a hint of cacao-like bitterness.

This coffee is an Organic Fair Trade coffee from the Bukonzo Joint Cooperative Union, which stand for 5000+ smallholder farmers. Founded in 1999 as a micro-finance cooperative specializing in Fairtrade Organic Washed Arabica coffee.

A washed-processed coffee brings out a smooth buttery texture that lingers with almond nougat and dried pear flavour to start and ends with a hint of cacao-like bitterness.
